Zeke, 'Rich-Rach Zik the African Legend', much beloved and well missed foundation male from Israel. He will forever be in our hearts. His progeny lives on in our Chief and Aria (Legendz African Sentinel and Legendz African Song), Ruckus (Legendz Mt. Stormberg Ysterhond), Khosi (Inkahena Imkhosi), Yani (Imkahena Inyani) and Haddie (Legendz from Eden Hadassah).

In 2006, a year after we got Devash, Orit let me know she had bred another litter from the same parents. I was very interested in getting another ridgeback from this rare pedigree, and around Thanksgiving, 2006, we brought Zeke over from Israel. Zeke was from a small litter of three dogs.

Zeke sired three litters, two with Selah and one with Dancer. He has thrown absolutely beautiful puppies.

Zeke was our 'gentle giant'. At age nine, he still ran a few miles nearly every day with one of our older girls. He was vocal for a ridgeback, and let us know just how he was feeling. An easy going, sweet & very obedient big guy, just happy to be with his girl, Charis. We chose not to show Zeke, merely because he would have hated it, and we didn't want to put him through it. He has a daughter, Afrika, Legendz Llandudno Beach who has won numerous titles including multi Best in Show's, number one ridgeback in Nicaragua 2012 & 2013 and number one all breed dog in Nicaragua in 2013. We lost Zeke at age 12; he died peacefully in his sleep.
